The most important thing to take away from this treatise on the misheard lyric from We Built This City by Starship, is that that song is a travesty. Maybe the person that misheard sausage rolls was trying to distract themselves from the tire fire of a song.
It’s particularly egregious because it’s alumni from Jefferson Airplane, which put together some of the most amazing tunes ever. Surrealistic Pillow was no joke. More like a masterpiece.
But, then Grace Slick and company had to get the band back together and lay down some of the corniest blather I’ve ever heard. Terrible. That’s the only thing that keeps me from truly embracing this design.

I mean it’s lighthearted and could be perceived as poking fun, but that’s not enough. This song deserves some serious invective. I mean your ruining my memory of a great band.
